Viewing Deleted Stacks on the AWS CloudFormation Console
Stacks in the DELETE_COMPLETE state are not displayed in the AWS CloudFormation console by default. To display information about deleted stacks, you must change the stack view setting so that deleted stacks are visible.
To view deleted stacks
In the CloudFormation Stacks section of the AWS CloudFormation console, click the Viewing drop-down button to choose the type of stacks to display in the AWS CloudFormation stack list.
On the the Viewing menu, choose Deleted. The view will change so that your deleted stacks are visible.
