Viewing the Template of an AWS CloudFormation Stack

To view the template for your AWS CloudFormation stack

  1. Click on your stack in the AWS CloudFormation console. This shows you the stack detail pane.

  2. In the detail pane, click the Template tab to view your stack's template.

Note

You might also notice some aws:-prefixed template. These were automatically added to your instance by AWS, and cannot be deleted or modified.
