Specifying Server-Side Encryption Using the AWS Management Console

When uploading an object using the AWS Management Console, you can specify server-side encryption. For an example of how to upload an object, go to Uploading Objects into Amazon S3.

When you copy an object using the AWS Management Console, the console copies the object as is. That is, if the copy source is encrypted, the target object will be encrypted. For an example of how to copy an object using the console, go to Copying an Object. The console also allows you to update properties of one or more objects.
