Monitor HBase with CloudWatch

Amazon EMR reports three metrics to CloudWatch that you can use to monitor your HBase backups. These metrics are pushed to CloudWatch at five-minute intervals, and are provided without charge. For more information about using CloudWatch to monitor Amazon EMR metrics, see Monitor Metrics with CloudWatch.
