The Route 53 API

The Route 53 API is a REST API that you can use to create, delete, and list Route 53 hosted zones and resource record sets. (When using the API, you change a resource record set by deleting the existing one and creating a new one.) For information about the Route 53 API, see the Amazon Route 53 API Reference.
