CreateConfiguredTable

Creates a new configured table resource.

Request Syntax

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

allowedColumns

The columns of the underlying table that can be used by collaborations or analysis rules.

Type: Array of strings

Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 225 items.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: [a-z0-9_](([a-z0-9_ ]+-)*([a-z0-9_ ]+))?

Required: Yes

analysisMethod

The analysis method for the configured tables. The only valid value is currently `DIRECT_QUERY`.

Type: String

Valid Values: DIRECT_QUERY

Required: Yes

description

A description for the configured table.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDBFF-\uDC00\uDFFF\t\r\n]*

Required: No

name

The name of the configured table.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 100.

Pattern: (?!\s*$)[\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDBFF-\uDC00\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes

tableReference

A reference to the AWS Glue table being configured.

Type: TableReference object

Note: This object is a Union. Only one member of this object can be specified or returned.

Required: Yes

tags

An optional label that you can assign to a resource when you create it. Each tag consists of a key and an optional value, both of which you define. When you use tagging, you can also use tag-based access control in IAM policies to control access to this resource.

Type: String to string map

Map Entries: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 200 items.

Key Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Value Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.

Required: No
