BatchCreatePartition

Creates one or more partitions in a batch operation.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

CatalogId

The ID of the catalog in which the partition is to be created. Currently, this should be the AWS account ID.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

DatabaseName

The name of the metadata database in which the partition is to be created.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes

PartitionInputList

A list of PartitionInput structures that define the partitions to be created.

Type: Array of PartitionInput objects

Array Members: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 100 items.

Required: Yes

TableName

The name of the metadata table in which the partition is to be created.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes
