GetEmailTemplate - Amazon Simple Email Service

GetEmailTemplate

Displays the template object (which includes the subject line, HTML part and text part) for the template you specify.

You can execute this operation no more than once per second.

Request Syntax

GET /v2/email/templates/TemplateName HTTP/1.1

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

TemplateName

The name of the template.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1.

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request does not have a request body.

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

TemplateContent

The content of the email template, composed of a subject line, an HTML part, and a text-only part.

TemplateName

The name of the template.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1.

The input you provided is invalid.

NotFoundException

The resource you attempted to access doesn't exist.

TooManyRequestsException
