Synopsis

Calls the Amazon Redshift DescribeHsmConfigurations API operation.

Description

Returns information about the specified Amazon Redshift HSM configuration. If no configuration ID is specified, returns information about all the HSM configurations owned by your Amazon Web Services account. If you specify both tag keys and tag values in the same request, Amazon Redshift returns all HSM connections that match any combination of the specified keys and values. For example, if you have owner and environment for tag keys, and admin and test for tag values, all HSM connections that have any combination of those values are returned. If both tag keys and values are omitted from the request, HSM connections are returned regardless of whether they have tag keys or values associated with them.

This cmdlet automatically pages all available results to the pipeline - parameters related to iteration are only needed if you want to manually control the paginated output. To disable autopagination, use -NoAutoIteration.

Note: For scripts written against earlier versions of this module this cmdlet can also be invoked with the alias, Get-RSHsmConfigurations.

The identifier of a specific Amazon Redshift HSM configuration to be described. If no identifier is specified, information is returned for all HSM configurations owned by your Amazon Web Services account.

-Marker <String>
An optional parameter that specifies the starting point to return a set of response records. When the results of a DescribeHsmConfigurations request exceed the value specified in MaxRecords, Amazon Web Services returns a value in the Marker field of the response. You can retrieve the next set of response records by providing the returned marker value in the Marker parameter and retrying the request.
Note: This parameter is only used if you are manually controlling output pagination of the service API call.
In order to manually control output pagination, use '-Marker $null' for the first call and '-Marker $AWSHistory.LastServiceResponse.Marker' for subsequent calls.

-MaxRecord <Int32>
The maximum number of response records to return in each call. If the number of remaining response records exceeds the specified MaxRecords value, a value is returned in a marker field of the response. You can retrieve the next set of records by retrying the command with the returned marker value. Default: 100Constraints: minimum 20, maximum 100.
Note: In AWSPowerShell and AWSPowerShell.NetCore this parameter is used to limit the total number of items returned by the cmdlet.
In AWS.Tools this parameter is simply passed to the service to specify how many items should be returned by each service call.
Pipe the output of this cmdlet into Select-Object -First to terminate retrieving data pages early and control the number of items returned.If a value for this parameter is not specified the cmdlet will use a default value of '100'.

By default the cmdlet will auto-iterate and retrieve all results to the pipeline by performing multiple service calls. If set, the cmdlet will retrieve only the next 'page' of results using the value of Marker as the start point.

Use the -Select parameter to control the cmdlet output. The default value is 'HsmConfigurations'. Specifying -Select '*' will result in the cmdlet returning the whole service response (Amazon.Redshift.Model.DescribeHsmConfigurationsResponse). Specifying the name of a property of type Amazon.Redshift.Model.DescribeHsmConfigurationsResponse will result in that property being returned. Specifying -Select '^ParameterName' will result in the cmdlet returning the selected cmdlet parameter value.

For example, suppose that you have HSM configurations that are tagged with keys called owner and environment. Outputs

This cmdlet returns a collection of Amazon.Redshift.Model.HsmConfiguration objects. The service call response (type Amazon.Redshift.Model.DescribeHsmConfigurationsResponse) can also be referenced from properties attached to the cmdlet entry in the $AWSHistory stack.
