Removes tags from an Amazon EMR resource. Tags make it easier to associate clusters in various ways, such as grouping clusters to track your Amazon EMR resource allocation costs. For more information, see Tagging Amazon EMR Resources.

The following example removes the stack tag with value Prod from a cluster:

Parameters

Type: Amazon.ElasticMapReduce.Model.RemoveTagsRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the RemoveTags service method.

The response from the RemoveTags service method, as returned by ElasticMapReduce.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InternalServerException This exception occurs when there is an internal failure in the EMR service.
InvalidRequestException This exception occurs when there is something wrong with user input.
