Configures an Auto Scaling group to send notifications when specified events take place. Subscribers to the specified topic can have messages delivered to an endpoint such as a web server or an email address.
This configuration overwrites any existing configuration.

If you exceed your maximum limit of SNS topics, which is 10 per Auto Scaling group, the call fails.
This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginPutNotificationConfiguration and EndPutNotificationConfiguration.
