Creates a high-availability partition group. A high-availability partition group is a group of partitions that spans multiple physical HSMs.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateHapg and EndCreateHapg.

Parameters
label
Type: System.String

The label of the new high-availability partition group.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value
The response from the CreateHapg service method, as returned by CloudHSM.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
CloudHsmInternalException Indicates that an internal error occurred.
CloudHsmServiceException Indicates that an exception occurred in the AWS CloudHSM service.
InvalidRequestException Indicates that one or more of the request parameters are not valid.
