Retrieves the history for the specified alarm. You can filter the results by date range or item type. If an alarm name is not specified, the histories for all alarms are returned.

CloudWatch retains the history of an alarm even if you delete the alarm.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDescribeAlarmHistory and EndDescribeAlarmHistory.

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

The response from the DescribeAlarmHistory service method, as returned by CloudWatch.
