Gets information about an instance as part of a deployment.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginGetDeploymentInstance and EndGetDeploymentInstance.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.CodeDeploy.Model.GetDeploymentInstanceRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the GetDeploymentInstance service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the GetDeploymentInstance service method, as returned by CodeDeploy.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DeploymentDoesNotExistException The deployment with the user or Amazon Web Services account does not exist.
DeploymentIdRequiredException At least one deployment ID must be specified.
InstanceDoesNotExistException The specified instance does not exist in the deployment group.
InstanceIdRequiredException The instance ID was not specified.
InvalidComputePlatformException The computePlatform is invalid. The computePlatform should be Lambda, Server, or ECS.
InvalidDeploymentIdException At least one of the deployment IDs was specified in an invalid format.
InvalidInstanceNameException The on-premises instance name was specified in an invalid format.
