Represents the failure of a job as returned to the pipeline by a job worker. Only used for custom actions.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginPutJobFailureResult and EndPutJobFailureResult.

Parameters
jobId
Type: System.String

The unique system-generated ID of the job that failed. This is the same ID returned from PollForJobs.

failureDetails
Type: Amazon.CodePipeline.Model.FailureDetails

The details about the failure of a job.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value
The response from the PutJobFailureResult service method, as returned by CodePipeline.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
InvalidJobStateException The specified job state was specified in an invalid format.
JobNotFoundException The specified job was specified in an invalid format or cannot be found.
ValidationException The validation was specified in an invalid format.
