Decommissions a landing zone. This API call starts an asynchronous operation that deletes Amazon Web Services Control Tower resources deployed in accounts managed by Amazon Web Services Control Tower.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginDeleteLandingZone and EndDeleteLandingZone.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.ControlTower.Model.DeleteLandingZoneRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteLandingZone service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DeleteLandingZone service method, as returned by ControlTower.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You do not have sufficient access to perform this action.
ConflictException Updating or deleting the resource can cause an inconsistent state.
InternalServerException An unexpected error occurred during processing of a request.
ResourceNotFoundException The request references a resource that does not exist.
ThrottlingException The request was denied due to request throttling.
ValidationException The input does not satisfy the constraints specified by an Amazon Web Services service.
