Deletes the specified data provider.

All migration projects associated with the data provider must be deleted or modified before you can delete the data provider.

Note:

For .NET Core this operation is only available in asynchronous form. Please refer to DeleteDataProviderAsync.

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DeleteDataProvider service method.

The response from the DeleteDataProvider service method, as returned by DatabaseMigrationService.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException DMS was denied access to the endpoint. Check that the role is correctly configured.
FailedDependencyException A dependency threw an exception.
InvalidResourceStateException The resource is in a state that prevents it from being used for database migration.
ResourceNotFoundException The resource could not be found.
