Creates a new cross-cluster search connection from a source domain to a destination domain.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.5 or higher. For .NET 3.5 the operation is implemented as a pair of methods using the standard naming convention of BeginCreateOutboundCrossClusterSearchConnection and EndCreateOutboundCrossClusterSearchConnection.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.Elasticsearch.Model.CreateOutboundCrossClusterSearchConnectionRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateOutboundCrossClusterSearchConnection service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateOutboundCrossClusterSearchConnection service method, as returned by Elasticsearch.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
DisabledOperationException An error occured because the client wanted to access a not supported operation. Gives http status code of 409.
InternalException The request processing has failed because of an unknown error, exception or failure (the failure is internal to the service) . Gives http status code of 500.
LimitExceededException An exception for trying to create more than allowed resources or sub-resources. Gives http status code of 409.
ResourceAlreadyExistsException An exception for creating a resource that already exists. Gives http status code of 400.
