Returns the current LifecycleConfiguration object for the specified EFS file system. Lifecycle management uses the LifecycleConfiguration object to identify when to move files between storage classes. For a file system without a LifecycleConfiguration object, the call returns an empty array in the response.

This operation requires permissions for the elasticfilesystem:DescribeLifecycleConfiguration operation.

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.7.2 or higher.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.ElasticFileSystem.Model.DescribeLifecycleConfigurationRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the DescribeLifecycleConfiguration service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the DescribeLifecycleConfiguration service method, as returned by ElasticFileSystem.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
BadRequestException Returned if the request is malformed or contains an error such as an invalid parameter value or a missing required parameter.
FileSystemNotFoundException Returned if the specified FileSystemId value doesn't exist in the requester's Amazon Web Services account.
InternalServerErrorException Returned if an error occurred on the server side.
