Starts the IdMappingJob of a workflow. The workflow must have previously been created using the CreateIdMappingWorkflow endpoint.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.7.2 or higher.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.EntityResolution.Model.StartIdMappingJobRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the StartIdMappingJob service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the StartIdMappingJob service method, as returned by EntityResolution.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You do not have sufficient access to perform this action.
ConflictException The request couldn't be processed because of conflict in the current state of the resource. Example: Workflow already exists, Schema already exists, Workflow is currently running, etc.
ExceedsLimitException The request was rejected because it attempted to create resources beyond the current Entity Resolution account limits. The error message describes the limit exceeded.
InternalServerException This exception occurs when there is an internal failure in the Entity Resolution service.
ResourceNotFoundException The resource couldn't be found.
ThrottlingException The request was denied due to request throttling.
ValidationException The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by Entity Resolution.
