Create a monitor for specific network flows between local and remote resources, so that you can monitor network performance for one or several of your workloads. For each monitor, Network Flow Monitor publishes detailed end-to-end performance metrics and a network health indicator (NHI) that informs you whether there were Amazon Web Services network issues for one or more of the network flows tracked by a monitor, during a time period that you choose.

Note:

This is an asynchronous operation using the standard naming convention for .NET 4.7.2 or higher.

Parameters

request
Type: Amazon.NetworkFlowMonitor.Model.CreateMonitorRequest

Container for the necessary parameters to execute the CreateMonitor service method.

cancellationToken
Type: System.Threading.CancellationToken

A cancellation token that can be used by other objects or threads to receive notice of cancellation.

Return Value


The response from the CreateMonitor service method, as returned by NetworkFlowMonitor.

Exceptions

ExceptionCondition
AccessDeniedException You don't have sufficient permission to perform this action.
ConflictException The requested resource is in use.
InternalServerException An internal error occurred.
ServiceQuotaExceededException The request exceeded a service quota.
ThrottlingException The request was denied due to request throttling.
ValidationException Invalid request.
