Module: Aws::AutoScaling

Defined in:
(unknown)

Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to Auto Scaling.

Aws::AutoScaling::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

autoscaling = Aws::AutoScaling::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
autoscaling.operation_names
#=> [:attach_instances, :attach_load_balancer_target_groups, :attach_load_balancers, :batch_delete_scheduled_action, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = autoscaling.attach_instances(params)

See Client for more information.

Aws::AutoScaling::Errors

Errors returned from Auto Scaling are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::AutoScaling::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by Auto Scaling
end

See Errors for more information.
