Overview

This module provides a client for making API requests to AWS Cost Explorer Service.

Aws::CostExplorer::Client

The Client class provides one-to-one mapping for each API operation.

costexplorer = Aws::CostExplorer::Client.new(region: 'us-east-1')
costexplorer.operation_names
#=> [:create_anomaly_monitor, :create_anomaly_subscription, :create_cost_category_definition, :delete_anomaly_monitor, ...]

Each API operation method accepts a hash of request parameters and returns a response object.

resp = costexplorer.create_anomaly_monitor(params)

Aws::CostExplorer::Errors

Errors returned from AWS Cost Explorer Service are defined in the Errors module and extend Errors::ServiceError.

begin
  # do stuff
rescue Aws::CostExplorer::Errors::ServiceError
  # rescues all errors returned by AWS Cost Explorer Service
end
