Troubleshooting Amazon WAM Issues

If the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application is not running, you won't see your installed Amazon WAM applications on the Windows Start menu. To start the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application, choose the Amazon WAM shortcut on the desktop of your WorkSpace.

If there is no Amazon WAM shortcut on the desktop, do the following:

  1. Reboot the WorkSpace to add the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application.

  2. If the Amazon WAM shortcut is still not there after rebooting the WorkSpace, open the C:\Program Files\Amazon folder and run WorkSpacesApplicationManager.exe to add the Amazon WorkSpaces Application Manager client application.

  3. If the WorkSpacesApplicationManager.exe file is not present on your WorkSpace, contact your Amazon WAM administrator.
