DeleteAccessGrant - Amazon Simple Storage Service


Deletes the access grant from the S3 Access Grants instance. You cannot undo an access grant deletion and the grantee will no longer have access to the S3 data.


You must have the s3:DeleteAccessGrant permission to use this operation.

Request Syntax

DELETE /v20180820/accessgrantsinstance/grant/id HTTP/1.1 Host: x-amz-account-id: AccountId

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.


The ID of the access grant. S3 Access Grants auto-generates this ID when you create the access grant.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: [a-zA-Z0-9\-]+

Required: Yes


The ID of the AWS account that is making this request.

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: ^\d{12}$

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request does not have a request body.

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.
