Your AWS account ID and its alias
To sign in to an AWS account as an IAM user, you must have an account alias or an account ID for the AWS account. If you're signed in to the AWS Management Console or have configured the AWS CLI or an AWS SDK with your account credentials, you can find the account alias or account ID for the AWS account from the drop-down menu under your account name. The account ID is also displayed on the IAM dashboard under AWS Account. You can copy the account ID to the clipboard from either location. If you can't sign in, contact your account administrator for assistance. Your account administrator sets the credentials for each IAM entity on the account.
Note
Account aliases aren't secrets, and they appear in your public-facing sign-in page URL. Don't include any sensitive information in your account alias.
