Actions, Resources, and Condition Keys for Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service

Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service (service prefix: ec2-instance-connect) provides the following service-specific resources, actions, and condition context keys for use in IAM permission policies.

Actions Defined by Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service

Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service has no API operations that can be used in the Actions element of an IAM policy statement. To allow access to Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service, specify “Action”: “ec2-instance-connect:*” in your policy.

Resources Defined by Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service

Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service does not support specifying a resource ARN in the Resource element of an IAM policy statement. To allow access to Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service, specify “Resource”: “*” in your policy.

Condition Keys for Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service

Amazon EC2 Instance Connect Service defines the following condition keys that can be used in the Condition element of an IAM policy. You can use these keys to further refine the conditions under which the policy statement applies. For details about the columns in the following table, see The Condition Keys Table.
