AssociateDeviceWithNetworkProfile

Associates a device with the specified network profile.

Request Syntax

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

DeviceArn

The device ARN.

Type: String

Pattern: arn:[a-z0-9-\.]{1,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[^/].{0,1023}

Required: Yes

NetworkProfileArn

The ARN of the network profile to associate with a device.

Type: String

Pattern: arn:[a-z0-9-\.]{1,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[a-z0-9-\.]{0,63}:[^/].{0,1023}

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

ConcurrentModificationException

There is a concurrent modification of resources.

HTTP Status Code: 400

DeviceNotRegisteredException

The request failed because this device is no longer registered and therefore no longer managed by this account.

HTTP Status Code: 400

NotFoundException

The resource is not found.

HTTP Status Code: 400
