Managing Conferencing and Room Booking

After linking your calendaring system in Alexa for Business, you can use Alexa to dial into meetings with your voice. You can use Echo devices as speaker phones, or have Alexa control your existing video conferencing equipment. You also can use Alexa to check availability of the conference room you are in, and reserve the room if it’s free. If it’s not free, Alexa can tell you who made the reservation.

You can ask Alexa to perform the following actions.

Dial into your meeting (via Echo as a speaker phone or controlling video conferencing equipment)

“Alexa, start my meeting”

“Alexa, join the meeting”

End your meeting (via Echo as a speaker phone or controlling video conferencing equipment)

“Alexa, end the meeting”

“Alexa, hang up”

Check room availability

“Alexa, is this room free?”

“Alexa, is the room booked at 4pm?”

“Alexa, is the room available?”

Find out who reserved room

“Alexa, who booked the room?”

“Alexa, who booked this room at 2pm?”

Reserve the conference room

“Alexa, book the room”

“Alexa, reserve this room at 1pm”

“Alexa, book the room for half an hour”
