UpdateGlobalSecondaryIndexAction - Amazon DynamoDB


Represents the new provisioned throughput settings to be applied to a global secondary index.



In the following list, the required parameters are described first.


The name of the global secondary index to be updated.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 3. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [a-zA-Z0-9_.-]+

Required: Yes


Updates the maximum number of read and write units for the specified global secondary index. If you use this parameter, you must specify MaxReadRequestUnits, MaxWriteRequestUnits, or both.

Type: OnDemandThroughput object

Required: No


Represents the provisioned throughput settings for the specified global secondary index.
