Deploy and use an Amazon Bedrock agent in your application - Amazon Bedrock

Deploy and use an Amazon Bedrock agent in your application

Amazon Bedrock Agents Classic availability

You can no longer sign up for Amazon Bedrock Agents (now Amazon Bedrock Agents Classic). If you already use Agents Classic, you can continue to use it.

For more information about building code-defined agents with the Strands Agents SDK, see Get started with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. For more information about Agents Classic, see Amazon Bedrock Agents Classic maintenance mode.

Before you can use an agent, you must deploy the agent by creating an alias. You can then use the agent in your application by calling the InvokeAgent operation. In this section, you learn how to create and manage an alias and how to call your agent from an application.
