CancelQuantumTask

Cancels the specified task.

Request Syntax

PUT /quantum-task/quantumTaskArn/cancel HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "clientToken": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

quantumTaskArn

The ARN of the task to cancel.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

clientToken

The client token associated with the request.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 64.

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

cancellationStatus

The status of the cancellation request.

Type: String

Valid Values: CANCELLING | CANCELLED

quantumTaskArn

The ARN of the task.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.
