class aws_cdk.aws_route53.ZoneDelegationRecord(scope, id, *, name_servers, comment=None, record_name=None, ttl=None, zone)

Bases: aws_cdk.aws_route53.RecordSet

A record to delegate further lookups to a different set of name servers.

Parameters
  • scope (Construct) –

  • id (str) –

  • name_servers (Sequence[str]) – The name servers to report in the delegation records.

  • comment (Optional[str]) – A comment to add on the record. Default: no comment

  • record_name (Optional[str]) – The domain name for this record. Default: zone root

  • ttl (Optional[Duration]) – The resource record cache time to live (TTL). Default: Duration.minutes(30)

  • zone (IHostedZone) – The hosted zone in which to define the new record.

Methods

apply_removal_policy(policy)

Apply the given removal policy to this resource.

The Removal Policy controls what happens to this resource when it stops being managed by CloudFormation, either because you’ve removed it from the CDK application or because you’ve made a change that requires the resource to be replaced.

The resource can be deleted (RemovalPolicy.DESTROY), or left in your AWS account for data recovery and cleanup later (RemovalPolicy.RETAIN).
