# TimecodeSource

The source of timecode for the channel outputs.

## Properties

- `EMBEDDED`: [TimecodeSource](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-medialive-alpha.TimecodeSource.html) (static) — Use embedded timecode from the source.

  Falls back to zero-based if not detected.

- `SYSTEMCLOCK`: [TimecodeSource](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-medialive-alpha.TimecodeSource.html) (static) — Use the system clock (UTC).

- `value`: string — The underlying string value passed to CloudFormation.

- `ZEROBASED`: [TimecodeSource](/cdk/api/v2/docs/@aws-cdk_aws-medialive-alpha.TimecodeSource.html) (static) — Start at 00:00:00:00.
