## Properties

- `catalogName`: string (required) — The name of the catalog.

- `connectionPasswordEncryption`: [ConnectionPasswordEncryption](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_glue.ConnectionPasswordEncryption.html) — Connection-password encryption configuration for the catalog.

  **Default:** connection-password encryption is not managed by CDK

- `description`: string — A description of the catalog.

  **Default:** no description

- `encryptionAtRest`: [DataCatalogEncryptionAtRest](/cdk/api/v2/docs/aws-cdk-lib.aws_glue.DataCatalogEncryptionAtRest.html) — Encryption-at-rest configuration for the catalog.

  **Default:** encryption at rest is not managed by CDK (the catalog default applies)
