CreateMeetingWithAttendees

Creates a new Amazon Chime SDK meeting in the specified media Region, with attendees. The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Attendees

The request containing the attendees to create.

Type: Array of CreateAttendeeRequestItem objects

Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 10 items.

Required: No

ClientRequestToken

The unique identifier for the client request. Use a different token for different meetings.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 2. Maximum length of 64.

Pattern: [-_a-zA-Z0-9]*

Required: Yes

ExternalMeetingId

The external meeting ID.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 2. Maximum length of 64.

Required: No

MediaRegion

The Region in which to create the meeting. Default: us-east-1.

Available values: af-south-1, ap-northeast-1, ap-northeast-2, ap-south-1, ap-southeast-1, ap-southeast-2, ca-central-1, eu-central-1, eu-north-1, eu-south-1, eu-west-1, eu-west-2, eu-west-3, sa-east-1, us-east-1, us-east-2, us-west-1, us-west-2.

NotificationsConfiguration

The configuration for resource targets to receive notifications when Amazon Chime SDK meeting and attendee events occur. The Amazon Chime SDK supports resource targets located in the US East (N. Virginia) AWS Region (us-east-1).

Tags

The tag key-value pairs.

Type: Array of Tag objects

Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 50 items.

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 201 response.

Attendees

The attendee information, including attendees IDs and join tokens.

Errors

If the action fails for one or more of the attendees in the request, a list of the attendees is returned, along with error codes and error messages.

Meeting

A meeting created using the Amazon Chime SDK.

BadRequestException

The input parameters don't match the service's restrictions.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ForbiddenException

The client is permanently forbidden from making the request. For example, when a user tries to create an account from an unsupported Region.

The request exceeds the resource limit.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ServiceFailureException

The service encountered an unexpected error.

HTTP Status Code: 500

ServiceUnavailableException

The service is currently unavailable.

The client exceeded its request rate limit.

The client is not currently authorized to make the request.
