DeleteSegment - CloudWatch Evidently


Deletes a segment. You can't delete a segment that is being used in a launch or experiment, even if that launch or experiment is not currently running.

Request Syntax

DELETE /segments/segment HTTP/1.1

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.


Specifies the segment to delete.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 2048.

Pattern: (^[-a-zA-Z0-9._]*$)|(arn:[^:]*:[^:]*:[^:]*:[^:]*:segment/[-a-zA-Z0-9._]*)

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request does not have a request body.

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

HTTP Status Code: 403


A resource was in an inconsistent state during an update or a deletion.

HTTP Status Code: 409


The request references a resource that does not exist.

HTTP Status Code: 429


The value of a parameter in the request caused an error.

HTTP Status Code: 400
