UntagResource

Removes a tag from an AWS resource.

Request Syntax

{ "Keys": [ "string" ], "ResourceArn": "string" }

Request Parameters

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

Keys

The keys in the key-value pair in the tag to remove.

Type: Array of strings

Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 50 items.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 256.

Pattern: ^[a-zA-Z0-9\s+=._:/-]+$

Required: Yes

ResourceArn

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the resource to remove the tag from.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: ^arn:(aws|aws-cn):datasync:[a-z\-0-9]+:[0-9]{12}:(agent|task|location)/(agent|task|loc)-[0-9a-z]{17}$

Required: Yes

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InternalException

This exception is thrown when an error occurs in the AWS DataSync service.

HTTP Status Code: 500

InvalidRequestException

This exception is thrown when the client submits a malformed request.
