Create actions in a custom AWS service environment

Complete the following procedure to create actions in a custom AWS service environment. By creating actions in a custom AWS service environment, you're adding deep links to the Amazon DataZone data portal to the analytics tool that are available in this environment.

  1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon DataZone management console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/datazone.

  2. Choose View domains and choose the domain in which your custom AWS service blueprint is enabled.

  3. Choose the Blueprints tab, then choose the enabled AWS service bluepint, and then choose the AWS service environment where you want to add actions.

  4. On the AWS console links page, choose links (actions) from the Popular AWS links or the Custom AWS links sections to enable deep links to your Amazon S3 buckets, Amazon Athena workgroups, AWS Glue jobs, or to any other custom AWS console resource from this environment via the Amazon DataZone data portal.

  5. If you navigate to this environment in the data portal by using the Data portal link from the Summary section of this environment, you can see the deep links that you've added under the Analytics tools section.
