The sustainability pillar focuses on the long-term environmental impacts of SaaS products. This pillar helps organizations design and operate their SaaS products in a way that minimizes their environmental footprint: Reducing energy consumption and increasing efficiency across all components of a workload by maximizing the benefits from the provisioned resources and minimizing the total resources required. It helps organizations understand the trade-offs involved in various design and operational decisions and make informed choices that align with their values and long-term business goals.
