TagResource - AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery

TagResource

Adds or overwrites only the specified tags for the specified Elastic Disaster Recovery resource or resources. When you specify an existing tag key, the value is overwritten with the new value. Each resource can have a maximum of 50 tags. Each tag consists of a key and optional value.

Request Syntax

POST /tags/resourceArn HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "tags": { "string" : "string" } }

URI Request Parameters

The request uses the following URI parameters.

resourceArn

ARN of the resource for which tags are to be added or updated.

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 20. Maximum length of 2048.

Pattern: ^arn:.{16,2044}$

Required: Yes

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

tags

Array of tags to be added or updated.

Type: String to string map

Key Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.

Value Length Constraints: Minimum length of 0. Maximum length of 256.

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

AccessDeniedException

TYou do not have sufficient access to perform this action.

InternalServerException

The request processing has failed because of an unknown error, exception or failure.

ThrottlingException

The request was denied due to request throttling.

HTTP Status Code: 429

ValidationException

The input fails to satisfy the constraints specified by the AWS service.
