Release: Elastic Beanstalk Amazon Linux 2 platform updates on May 6, 2020

This release provides new versions for AWS Elastic Beanstalk platforms based on Amazon Linux 2. The release includes security updates. It also includes Amazon Corretto updates.

Category Description

Security updates

Applied all security updates published in the Amazon Linux Security Center on or before April 23, 2020 to all Amazon Linux 2 platforms.

Bug and operations fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused some Amazon Linux 2 platforms to fail in private networks.

  • The Amazon Linux AMI platform update on May 4, 2020 accidentally removed some recent Amazon Linux 2 platform versions from all AWS regions. This release brings them back.
