Starting on April 25, 2023, the new Elastic Beanstalk console experience is available in all of the AWS Regions that Elastic Beanstalk supports, other than the AWS GovCloud (US) and China Regions. The new console experience will also roll out to these Regions at a later date.

The Create environment wizard has been redesigned to provide an intuitive flow with clear next steps. You can see the steps at a high level and easily identify which ones are optional. After you complete all of the desired and required information, all of your choices are summarized in a final review panel.

To manage and monitor the environments of your existing applications, the Environment overview page shows a tabbed view of main environment details, including a list of recent environment-generated events, environment health, and monitoring metrics.

Notes

  • The new Elastic Beanstalk console design will roll out to the AWS GovCloud (US) and China Regions at a later date.

  • Both the new and old console were available for the beta release that was launched in the US East (N. Virginia) Region. Starting with today's release only the new console design is available in the US East (N. Virginia) Region and the other Regions where it has been released.
