AWS Support endpoints and quotas

The following are the service endpoints and service quotas for this service. To connect programmatically to an AWS service, you use an endpoint. In addition to the standard AWS endpoints, some AWS services offer FIPS endpoints in selected Regions. For more information, see AWS service endpoints. Service quotas, also referred to as limits, are the maximum number of service resources or operations for your AWS account. For more information, see AWS service quotas.

AWS Support has a single endpoint: (HTTPS).

Service Quotas

The following table describes the current quotas and restrictions for AWS Support.



Maximum number of AWS Support cases that you can create

10 per hour

Maximum number of open AWS Support cases in your AWS account

Basic support plan – 3

Developer, Business, and Enterprise support plans – Unlimited

Time duration that case history information remains in your AWS account

12 months

Size limit per attachment to add to an AWS Support case

5 MB

Throttling limits for the AWS Support API operations

AWS Trusted Advisor API operations – 100 requests per second

All other AWS Support API operations – 5 requests per second
