# BatchStopJobRun

Stops one or more job runs for a specified job definition.

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

The name of the job definition for which to stop job runs.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.  
Pattern: `[\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*`   
Required: Yes

 ** [JobRunIds](#API_BatchStopJobRun_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="Glue-BatchStopJobRun-request-JobRunIds"></a>
A list of the `JobRunIds` that should be stopped for that job definition.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 25 items.  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.  
Pattern: `[\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*`   
Required: Yes
