BatchDeletePartition

Deletes one or more partitions in a batch operation.

Request Syntax

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

CatalogId

The ID of the Data Catalog where the partition to be deleted resides. If none is provided, the AWS account ID is used by default.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: No

DatabaseName

The name of the catalog database in which the table in question resides.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes

PartitionsToDelete

A list of PartitionInput structures that define the partitions to be deleted.

Type: Array of PartitionValueList objects

Array Members: Minimum number of 0 items. Maximum number of 25 items.

Required: Yes

TableName

The name of the table that contains the partitions to be deleted.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 255.

Pattern: [\u0020-\uD7FF\uE000-\uFFFD\uD800\uDC00-\uDBFF\uDFFF\t]*

Required: Yes
