

# CreateGlueIdentityCenterConfiguration

Creates a new AWS Glue Identity Center configuration to enable integration between AWS Glue and AWS IAM Identity Center for authentication and authorization.

The Amazon Resource Name (ARN) of the Identity Center instance to be associated with the AWS Glue configuration.  
Type: String  
Length Constraints: Minimum length of 10. Maximum length of 1224.  
Required: Yes

A list of Identity Center scopes that define the permissions and access levels for the AWS Glue configuration.  
Type: Array of strings  
Array Members: Minimum number of 1 item. Maximum number of 50 items.  
Length Constraints: Maximum length of 50.  
Required: No

 ** [UserBackgroundSessionsEnabled](#API_CreateGlueIdentityCenterConfiguration_RequestSyntax) **   <a name="Glue-CreateGlueIdentityCenterConfiguration-request-UserBackgroundSessionsEnabled"></a>
Specifies whether users can run background sessions when using Identity Center authentication with AWS Glue services.
