UntagResource

Remove tags from a CloudFront resource. For more information, see Tagging a distribution in the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

Request Syntax

POST /2020-05-31/tagging?Operation=Untag HTTP/1.1 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <TagKeys xmlns="http://cloudfront.amazonaws.com/doc/2020-05-31/"> <Items> <Key>string</Key> </Items> </TagKeys>

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in XML format.

TagKeys

Root level tag for the TagKeys parameters.

Required: Yes

Items

A complex type that contains Tag key elements.

Type: Array of strings

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: ([\p{L}\p{Z}\p{N}_.:/=+\-@]*)

Required: No

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 204

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 204 response with an empty HTTP body.

Access denied.

InvalidArgument

An argument is invalid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

InvalidTagging

The tagging specified is not valid.
