SetDefaultAuthorizer - AWS IoT

SetDefaultAuthorizer

Sets the default authorizer. This will be used if a websocket connection is made without specifying an authorizer.

Requires permission to access the SetDefaultAuthorizer action.

Request Syntax

POST /default-authorizer HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "authorizerName": "string" }

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

authorizerName

The authorizer name.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: [\w=,@-]+

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200 Content-type: application/json { "authorizerArn": "string", "authorizerName": "string" }

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response.

The following data is returned in JSON format by the service.

authorizerArn

The authorizer ARN.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Maximum length of 2048.

authorizerName

The authorizer name.

Type: String

Length Constraints: Minimum length of 1. Maximum length of 128.

Pattern: [\w=,@-]+

The request is not valid.

The rate exceeds the limit.
