PutLoggingOptions - AWS IoT Analytics

PutLoggingOptions

Sets or updates the AWS IoT Analytics logging options.

If you update the value of any loggingOptions field, it takes up to one minute for the change to take effect. Also, if you change the policy attached to the role you specified in the roleArn field (for example, to correct an invalid policy), it takes up to five minutes for that change to take effect.

Important

The PutLoggingOptions operation in AWS IoT Analytics is no longer available to new customers. Existing customers of AWS IoT Analytics can continue to use the service as normal. Learn more

Request Syntax

PUT /logging HTTP/1.1 Content-type: application/json { "loggingOptions": { "enabled": boolean, "level": "string", "roleArn": "string" } }

URI Request Parameters

The request does not use any URI parameters.

Request Body

The request accepts the following data in JSON format.

loggingOptions

The new values of the AWS IoT Analytics logging options.

Type: LoggingOptions object

Required: Yes

Response Syntax

HTTP/1.1 200

Response Elements

If the action is successful, the service sends back an HTTP 200 response with an empty HTTP body.

InternalFailureException

There was an internal failure.

HTTP Status Code: 500

InvalidRequestException

The request was not valid.

HTTP Status Code: 400

ServiceUnavailableException

The service is temporarily unavailable.

ThrottlingException

The request was denied due to request throttling.

HTTP Status Code: 400
